You Tube should be able to automatically link to sites mentioned in videos

According to YouTube's Creator Insider channel, the company is introducing a new link style within the video description box that gives viewers an simple and visual method to learn about destinations referenced in the video. Places Mentioned is the is a new feature that will appear on the mobile app for iOS and Android for food and drink videos that YouTube can identify places within. The launch date and whether or not Places Mentioned will be extended to more video genres have yet to be announced by the firm.
Why it matters
When a location was referenced in a video, the sole option for adding information was to manually add a link. Food and restaurant content providers will benefit from automated detection and link development for establishments referenced in their content.

By default, the description box in the YouTube app is reduced, so users must expand it to read the description. This may reduce the advantages that may be gained by including a link to a website in the description. Even though the business claims that the Places Mentioned feature would provide viewers with an entertaining method to learn more about the locations mentioned in a video, YouTube has yet to reveal images of the feature's appearance or functionality in its present description box configuration.
